About Jenni Belden
Nutritionist, Nurse & Health Coach
Hi,
I am Jenni. I help people improve their health by understanding their diet, nutrient status, lifestyle, and medical context, then creating a personalised plan that’s practical, evidence-based, and designed to get real results.
My goal is simple: to help you feel better, stay active, and feel confident in your health.

My Story & Why I Do This Work
I began my career in nursing because caring for people has always felt like my calling. I spent many years working in Emergency medicine. I loved the fast pace, the teamwork, and the privilege of helping people in critical moments.
But day after day, I also cared for people whose chronic health issues had slowly built up over the years. It made me wonder: What if we could intervene earlier? What if we could prevent so much of this suffering with the right support?
That question changed my career.
As I started my own family, my passion for food and cooking grew into a deep curiosity about food as medicine. How nutrition can prevent disease, support healing, and improve quality of life. This eventually led me into integrative medicine, where I saw firsthand the power of combining mainstream medical care with evidence-based complementary approaches.
It felt natural and necessary to take the next step and become a Clinical Nutritionist.
Today, I bring together:
-
30+ years of Nursing and clinical experience
-
Evidence-based nutrition
-
Lifestyle and behaviour change coaching
-
A thorough understanding of both medication and supplements
-
A practical, realistic approach that meets you where you are.
Most people know what to eat, but it’s the “how” that’s hard. Changing habits, navigating confusing information, balancing medical conditions, and knowing which supplements actually work… that’s where I come in.
How I Help
I work with clients who want to:
-
Lower cholesterol, blood pressure, or blood sugar
-
Improve bone strength (osteopaenia / osteoporosis)
-
Improve gut health and eat more foods without upset or bloating
-
Get clarity around what to eat and what supplements are right for them
-
Build sustainable long-term health habits
-
Support recovery after cancer treatment
Together, we create a plan that’s tailored, achievable, and grounded in clinical knowledge, not fads.
